History: I'm still building my information file on Lash LeRoux, but here's what I have so far. Lash began his career as an amateur wrestler, placing high in the State Wrestling competitions in Alabama (where he lives now). He wrestled into college, although I have very little information about him there. Lash showed some excellent high-flying abilities, but these abilities were wasted in the amateur circuit. It was time to try the big leagues.

In 1998, Lash worked in the WCW Powerplant, honing his skills as a Cruiserweight. He debuted in the middle of '98, wrestling solid matches against various wrestlers, usually losing. He became a mainstay on Thunder and Saturday Night wrestling, slowly becoming better known around the wrestling world. In October '99, LeRoux started to really get the recognition he deserved. At Halloween Havoc, LeRoux faced the Disco Inferno for the Cruiserweight Title. Although he lost, he impressed with his ariel acrobatics, if not his assault on Disco after losing.

However, soon after, Lash and Disco came together as a new team, when Disco angered Tony Marinara, supposedly a gangster from New York. Lash and Disco bonded together against the man and his thugs, and the feud continued for the next couple of months. The two men seemed to outdo the thugs at every turn, especially when they tar 'n' feathered Marinara. The thugs got the last word, though, at Starrcade, when Disco accidentally used his Last Dance on LeRoux, allowing Big Vito and Johnny the Bull to get the victory. LeRoux was carried out, along with Disco, in a body bag.

The next time Lash appeared, he was no longer associated with Disco or the thugs. He wrestled on his own for a while, and fought in the Lethal Lottery Tag-Team Title Tournament with Midnight. But Lash mainly did not receive a push, only wrestling on the lesser shows of WCW for a month or so. In February '99, when Oklahoma vacated the Cruiserweight Title (since he couldn't officially wear it), Lash entered the tournament for the belt. He defeated Evan Koragias and Shannon Moore, but lost at Superbrawl X to the Artist formerly known as Prince Iaukea in the finals. LeRoux continued to fight in the Cruiserweight Division for the next few months, rarely getting a chance at the championship.

In April '00, when Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo returned to WCW to take over, LeRoux found himself placed into the Spring Stampede "Four Corners" match for the Cruiserweight Title. He gave a good account of himself, against Juventud Guerrera, the Artist, Crowbar, Shannon Moore, and Chris Candido. But Candido won out, pinning the Artist for the title. Soon after, LeRoux fell into bad favor with Bischoff, and was apparently fired along with a bunch of other wrestlers. A few shows later, LeRoux reappeared with the fired wrestlers, under new names. He now called himself Corporal Cajun, and teammed with Captain Hugh G. Rection (Hugh Morrus), Lt. Loco (Chavo Guerrero Jr), Major Stash (Van Hammer), and G.I. Bro (Booker T). The Misfits in Action, or M.I.A., immediately became a popular force in WCW, battling mainly with the Filthy Animals.

Corporal Cajun and the rest of the MIA continued to fight against Russo and the rest of the New Blood, focusing on the Filthy Animals, with whom they had numerous encounters, usually focusing around Lt. Loco's possession of the Cruiserweight Title. At successive PPVs, Cpl. Cajun helped Loco retain the belt in his matches against the Disco Inferno and Juventud Guerrera. The Corporal then began teaming with General Rection, as they entered the tag-team division, fighting for a spot at the next PPV. They earned it, beating the Filthy Animals out of a cage the week before the event, and went into New Blood Rising as one of the four teams in the Tag-Team Title match, against Kronik (c), Mark Jindrak & Sean O'Haire, and the Perfect Event (Chuck Palumbo & "PerfectSean" Stasiak). With the Filthy Animals made the referees by Commissioner Ernest "The Cat" Miller, the match was truly crazy. During the match, things got even worse, when Vampiro & the Great Muta came out to interfere. In the end, Lt. Loco ran out and stripped Disco of his referee shirt, then made the count, surprisingly giving the victory to Kronik. This caused some tension between Loco and the rest of the MIA, but it was worked out.

The Misfits In Action next had a brief feud with the members of 3 Count. Cpl. Cajun, Lt. Loco, and the newest MIA member, AWOL, faced off against the trio at Fall Brawl '00. Although the cruiserweights carried the fight, the massive AWOL proved to be the deciding factor, chokeslamming members of 3 Count through a table to make for the easy pin. Not long after, MIA began feuding with the powerful Natural Born Thrillers, who had the Commissioner, Mike Sanders, on their side. During a Nitro, Cajun & Loco teamed up to take on the tag-team champions Jindrak & O'Haire. It was a surprising fight, with the MIA members getting the pin and the Tag-Team belts. But their celebration did not last long. Sanders came out shortly thereafter, congratulating the two on their win, then declaring that they had to defend the belts right away. Immediately, Jindrak & O'Haire attacked, and eventually got the roll-up to get the belts back. Things started to fall apart for the MIA afterwards, as Loco left the group, then got AWOL to come with him later on. With Major Stash out of WCW, that left only Cajun & Rection. During a regular show, Rection demanded Cajun's MIA shirt, effectively ending the stable. "Cajun" then went back to calling himself Lash LeRoux.

In January '01, LeRoux was signed to fight "The Dog-Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner. Steiner massacred him, beating LeRoux all over the ring before finally, mercifully, pinning him. LeRoux was later carted out on a stretcher, and was not seen in the Turner-ran WCW again. He has since spent many years on the independent circuit, with little to no interest shown by WWE. He appeared on the first episode of the NWA-TNA pay-per-views, where he competed in the Gauntlet For The Gold Match, which was won by Ken Shamrock. But Lash hasn't had much of an effect on the NWA-TNA shows since then. His youth is still there, though, and Lash still has time to make another journey towards the top of the sport.
