GCWA Friday Night Inferno

*After a few seconds of silence, a fire begins blazing from the bottom of the shot, eventually overtaking everything. With a rush, a hard rock theme begins to blast through your speakers, as the inferno gets even higher. Inside the flames, various images start to appear, displaying the different wrestlers of the company. We switch rapidly from shot to shot, as the music reaches an epic climax, the final shot showing Draco lifting up the World Heavyweight Championship with a large, speculative grin on his face. The screen explodes into flaming shards, letting us into the GCWA Arena! The crowd is pretty pumped as we focus on their smiling faces, jumping up and down in excitement at the thought of the continuation of the tournament tonight. Many of the signs in the audience reflect the tournament, including signs that read “Dangerous Dan: Warrior of the Ring!” and “Wasted Is A Better Way To Live! Go Warrick!” We head to ringside to join the announce team.*

Jones: Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Friday Night Inferno!

Logan: Great to be here, Jonesy, and this time, I mean that! I’m energized about the continuation of the GCWA Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament!

Jones: Last week, we had some great matches, including crowning a new champion, as we made our way through the first four matches.

Logan: Yep, we had Arachne take down Aaron Styles, Dangerous Dan win, via forfeit, over Grimm, Marcus Ka’Derrion survive a “Parking Lot Brawl” with Scott Caine, and The Lost Soul win the Intercontinental Title from Mr. Excellent.

Jones: The field is already looking extremely competitive for the quarter-finals, but tonight, we add four more! The Big Bifford will be tested against another big man, Penance; Warrick Hill will make his return to the ring to take on Peter “The Janitor” Vaughn; the X Division Champion, Harvey Danger, will face off against Crazy Chris; and, in our main event, Robert Santana will defend the Television Title against Bucky Johnson!

Logan: It’s hard to predict winners in any of those contests, Jonesy. All I know is, whoever moves on truly deserves it. I can’t wait to see who’s going to advance!

Jones: You really do love tournaments, don’t you, Anthony?

Logan: Hell yes! I wish we had tournaments every freakin’ month! They’re my favorites!

Jones: Well, glad you’re excited, partner. In that case, we have no reason to wait, so let’s get to the action!

Logan: Wooohooo!

Minos: The next match is scheduled for one fall, and is a Qualifying match for the Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament! Coming towards the ring, he is one of the largest athletes in our sport, standing 6’8” and weighing 200 lbs, from Detroit, Michigan, representing the Caine Dynasty, here is Penance!

*The boos float throughout the arena, as “Automatic” by American Pearl plays over the speakers. Penance walks out, looking thoroughly ticked off. He curses at some of the fans along his way down, making his way down towards the ring.*

Jones: A big story last week was the fact that Penance did not show up to help Scott Caine against Marcus Ka’Derrion in the Parking Lot Brawl.

Logan: Yeah, as annoying as it would have been, it would be perfectly legal for him to intervene, yet he didn’t. And here, tonight, he’s on his own, with no sign of Caine.

Jones: Well, Caine was in pretty bad shape after that match, Anthony. I don’t know when he’ll be making his return.

Logan: True, and that leaves Penance all on his own tonight. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.

Minos: His opponent is a former GCWA X Division Champion, and has been making waves with his partner, Arachne, in recent months… standing 6’4” and weighing 411 lbs, from Columbus, Ohio, here is one-half of the GCWA Tag-Team Champions of the World, The Big Bifford!

*The crowd is noticeably happier to see Bifford, although, as always, he has some haters in the “pro-Dangerous Dan” crowd. As “Gangsta’s Paradise” plays, The Big Bifford comes out, with his manager, Martin Ka’Berryon, right behind him. Bifford seems extremely confident, possibly because of the book he has in his hands. Ka’Berryon looks significantly less enthused.*

Jones: Bifford’s partner, Arachne, has already advanced to the next round, which has to put a little pressure on the big man.

Logan: I don’t know about that. Bifford’s been through tournaments like this before. He certainly has nothing to prove after such a stellar career.

Jones: I notice that he’s got that book with him, “How To Win Warriors of the Ring IV For Dummies”.

Logan: You mean that dictionary? The one that he put the fake cover on?

Jones: Well… yeah…

Logan: I doubt that’s going to be much use to him, although it looks like it could be heavy enough to use as a weapon. But as a knowledgeable asset? Nah, I doubt it helped him prepare any, other than being used as a footstool while he was watching television.

*The Bell Rings.*

Logan: Two of the biggest men in wrestling are meeting up for the first time since the Righteous Rumble! Who will prove to be the better competitor and move on in the tournament?

Jones: Penance has the height advantage, but The Big Bifford definitely still has the edge in weight.

Logan: You aren’t going to see any planchas or shooting star presses in this one. This is all about power!

*Penance starts to come forward, wanting to get to fighting, but Bifford stops him with a raised hand. Penance stops, confused, as Bifford opens up his book and leafs through it quickly, nodding as if speed-reading. Bifford then smiles, looking back up, as if he has the key to this tournament. He yells to Martin and tosses the heavy book over the top rope towards him, with Martin catching the book in self-defense, falling backwards from the impact! As Martin works to get back up (not an easy task in a grape costume), Bifford suddenly rushes forward, taking advantage of the fact that Penance had watched what happened outside, instead of paying attention to his opponent! Bifford starts landing heavy shots with both hand, stunning Penance with the blows. Bifford then rears back and swings a mighty right fist with a lot of momentum, slamming into Penance’s head and knocking him back to the ground! The crowd is cheering Bifford on, with the heavyweight continuing to go after his foe.*

Logan: Ok, I take it back. That book turned out to be pretty useful, after all!

Jones: It definitely distracted Penance, allowing The Big Bifford to take the early advantage. In fact, Penance looks a little loopy from those shots he just took, having trouble getting up!

Logan: Hey, you try recovering quickly after a 400+ pound man hits you in the head multiple times! The Big Bifford may not be the youngest competitor in this tournament, but he definitely still has power worth fearing, not to mention his girth!

*With referee Mitchell looking on from the side, The Big Bifford continues his assault, pulling Penance up and tossing him into the corner. Bifford lands a few more elbows to keep Penance there, and then backs up, preparing for a charge. He runs forward, attempting a big splash, but Penance manages to get his boot up, kicking Bifford in the face! The Big Bifford stumbles back, surprised, as Penance rights himself in the corner. He runs forward, preparing to take Bifford down, but the veteran reacts, catching Penance in mid-charge and spinning him around with a violent-looking spinebuster!!! The crowd is going wild after that power display. Penance is down, both arms wrapped around the back of his head. The Big Bifford, meanwhile, gets himself back up and heads over for the cover, getting Penance’s shoulders on the mat. Referee Mitchell comes in… 1… 2… and Penance manages to kick out. Bifford sits up, already considering the next few moves he could utilize, as the fans chant his name.*

Jones: I don’t think Penance has ever been tossed in the air like that!

Logan: Yeah, which makes it doubly effective when someone lands a power maneuver. He’s just not as experienced in how to take the impact. That comes from facing smaller wrestlers all the time.

Jones: Penance needs to find a way to recover soon, or else his tournament chances are going to be flying out the window!

*Martin Ka’Berryon is shown on the outside, watching the match with a hopeful look on his face. The heavy book is sitting on the apron in front of him, leaving Martin’s hands free in order to spur on the crowd. In the ring, a dazed Penance is trying to sit up, but he’s definitely having trouble. The Big Bifford, already on his feet, ‘lends a hand’, pulling Penance upwards. Penance tries to respond with a left hand, but he misses badly, with Bifford able to turn him around and grab him from behind, taking Penance over with an impressive release belly-to-back suplex! Penance is down again, with Bifford again trying a cover… 1… 2… but Penance isn’t staying down just yet. Bifford pulls himself back up, bringing Penance with him. Bifford tosses his opponent into the ropes, with Penance returning only to take a double-axehandle to the head to plant him once more! Another cover again only gets a 2 count, as Bifford is dominating the match thus far.*

Logan: This is starting to get embarrassing for Penance, as Bifford is just walking right over him!

Jones: Yeah, I mean, Penance very nearly won the Righteous Rumble a few months ago, yet he’s barely able to even put up a fight here tonight!

Logan: Something has to be wrong, because he doesn’t seem focused at all. Bifford, meanwhile, certainly seems to be on his game. Arachne must be proud… if he’s not too high to be watching this contest…

*Penance is still down, unable to get up, as the Big Bifford stands, looking towards Martin for ideas. Martin, though, shrugs his shoulders, thinking that Bifford’s doing pretty well on his own so far. As Penance tries to sit up, Bifford turns towards him, kicking him in the upper chest and putting him back on the canvas. Bifford then looks around at the crowd, before doing a couple of stomps, then running to the ropes. He comes back with a jump and sits down on Penance’s chest with an Avalanche, crushing the man!!! Penance is flat and not moving, even as Bifford stays seated there, waiting for referee Mitchell to move in. Mitchell, apparently shocked at the impact, finally moves, coming in for the count… 1… 2… 3!!!!!*

Minos: Here is your winner, moving on in the Warriors of the Ring Tournament, The Big Bifford!

Jones: Penance just got crushed!!

Logan: Yeah, I don’t know if anyone could have kicked out from that one. It’s not a usual move from The Big Bifford, but considering his weight, it’s spectacularly effective!

Jones: After that hit, we might need a stretcher for Penance!

Logan: Is this the final nail in the coffin for the Caine Dynasty?

*Penance is coughing heavily as The Big Bifford moves away, climbing out of the ring. He joins up with Martin, making sure to grab his book from him before departing. Referee Mitchell stays in the ring, checking on the hurting Penance, as Bifford heads out. The scene cuts backstage, where Harvey Danger is standing outside of the office of GCWA president The Accelerator. Harvey looks at the door for a moment before raising his arm as if to knock. He gets ready to do it, but stops himself, sighing heavily. Glancing down, he notices that the door is cracked open and he can hear people talking inside. Confused, he puts his head up against the door to listen.*

The Accelerator: I still haven't made my decision on what to do yet on that.

???: Come on man, what more do I need to say to get you to agree?

*Harvey, like all the fans out there, immediately recognizes the second voice as belonging to Shane Donovan. Rather than barge in, Harvey decides to listen.*

Shane Donovan: The guy is a no good lousy drunk, and the sooner you do something to take care of the situation the better off the company will be. I told you I would help in any way that I can, but you gotta give me the opportunity to do it! This reckless behavior on his part is going to damage your company Ace, and I'm just the man to put an end to all this non-sense with Draco and get things back on track...

*Harvey leans into the door, looking mortified that Shane is planning on betraying Draco. He tries to press his ear up against the door, not realizing that open doors generally don't support weight well when leaned against. Sure enough, the door swings open and WHAM! Harvey ends up on the floor!*

The Accelerator: Who the…. Oh.

Shane Donovan: Harvey?!

Harvey Danger: Um, I heard everything! I better tell Draco!

*Harvey grabs the door and dashes out, pulling it shut as Shane dives for the door, unable to get out of the office in time. Shane yanks the door open, storming out of the office in pursuit of his former tag team partner. A nearby stagehand isn't paying too close attention though, walking into the warpath and having Shane slam into him! Both men hit the floor, with Shane swearing profusely as he tries to catch up with Harvey. We fade out to a commercial.*

*As we come back from the break, still trying to control our laughter at the thought of the Rock wearing a tutu (c’mon, man, that’s classic comedy!), we head into a shot of backstage, where we’re in front of the House of Pain locker room. The sounds of arguing can be heard within. After a few seconds, the door swings open with a bang, and Warrick Hill comes out! He looks back behind him, looking pissed off. Following him, trying to make peace, is Derek Mobley.*

Derek Mobley: C’mon, man, don’t be like that. Let’s talk.

Warrick Hill: We could have talked, if you hadn’t sent that *bleep* Dean to pick me up instead of you. What, you were too busy to come get your ‘best friend’ from jail? Too busy to maybe give a guy somewhere to crash?

Derek Mobley: I’m not the one who stupidly opened up a Halloween attraction at an actual haunted house, Warrick, so don’t be blaming me for…

Warrick Hill: Whatever, I’ve got a tournament match to win to get some cash. Don’t bother following, I don’t need your help to win.

*Warrick moves off, already putting himself into the fighting frame of mind, as Derek watches him go, shaking his head. He punches the side of the door in frustration, annoyed. Behind him, someone starts laughing. Derek turns, knowing exactly who it’s going to be.*

Lurrr: He’s an ungrateful little *bleep*, isn’t he?

*Angry, Derek steps towards Lurrr, who immediately takes a step away, his hands up in a sign of peace.*

Lurrr: I’m not here to fight, Derek. I’m here to make you an offer. Warrick doesn’t want your help? *Bleep* him. But I could use you.

*Derek raises his eyebrows in surprise as Lurrr leans against the wall, relaxed.*

Lurrr: The Roman Empire once ruled this place, Derek. I think it can do it again. You and me, as a team, would bring the GCWA to its knees. Equal partners, just us two, holding all the championships. You deserve to be back on top, Derek, not letting an also-ran like Warrick get all the glory. Think about it. I’ll expect an answer in two weeks.

Derek Mobley: …

*Surprisingly, Derek seems to have nothing to say to that. Lurrr turns and walks away, smiling, as Derek watches him go. Derek then turns and goes back into his locker room, an extremely thoughtful expression now on his face. He shuts the door, sending us back to the ringside area.*

Jones: Wait, Lurrr wants to reform the Roman Empire??

Logan: Yeah, apparently as a tag-team… what worries me is that Derek didn’t immediately tell him to go to hell!

Jones: You don’t think Derek Mobley would actually consider teaming back up with the most hated man in the GCWA, do you?

Logan: Well, I never would have thought he would have joined him in the first place, Jonesy, but it happened. Now, with all the strife going on with Warrick and the fact that he was passed over for the Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament, well, let’s just hope that Derek doesn’t think that he’s got another option.

Jones: Well, speaking of the tournament, let’s see what Derek’s current tag-team partner can do!

Minos: The next match is scheduled for one fall and is a Qualifying match for the Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament! First, making his way to the ring, he is a multi-tasker in the wrestling universe, standing 5’6” and weighing 173 lbs, from Dallas, Texas, here is Peter “The Janitor” Vaughn!

*”Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor hits the speakers, with the fans cheering for Vaughn as he painfully makes his way out. He’s limping and has a wrap around his throat, presumably for added protection after the beating he took last week. The Janitor takes his time getting to the ring, moving stiffly.*

Jones: So far, 2010 hasn’t gone very well for Peter Vaughn. He thought he could make this a better year, but his match against the World Champion, Draco, last week certainly didn’t go the way he planned.

Logan: Yeah, Vaughn accidentally bloodied Draco, which caused the man to basically destroy Vaughn, including landing that devastating Inner Rage of his. I’m actually a little surprised that Vaughn is competing here tonight.

Jones: Well, you don’t toss away a tournament match lightly, but we’ll see if Vaughn is in any shape to be competitive here tonight.

Minos: His opponent is a former GCWA World Tag-Team Champion, and is looking to renew his career in the company starting tonight… standing 6’1” and weighing 220 lbs, representing The House of Pain, here is Warrick Hill!

*The crowd gives a good reaction for Hill, cheering as “Tom Sawyer” by Rush plays. Hill comes out with a confident strut, apparently happy to be back. He’s got on a different set of clothes to wrestle in, his previous outfit having been left at his former apartment.*

Jones: Warrick Hill may be one of the more interesting stories here at the beginning of the year. Due to an ill-advised venture into the haunted house business, Warrick actually spent some time behind bars, charged with reckless endangerment when a man had a heart attack there.

Logan: I still say that’s ridiculous. I mean, the dude went to a Haunted House, and then had a heart attack when the house proved to be haunted? That’s crazy.

Jones: Well, either way, Warrick has hit some hard times, as he’s lost his apartment and is currently broke. He’s also having issues with his former friends in Derek and Dean, issues that might actually lead to the reforming of the Roman Empire!

Logan: I’m in shock still about that. It can’t happen, right? Right?

Jones: What matters now is, can Warrick get himself a victory here tonight? Most are thinking about the tournament. Warrick’s more interested in getting some cash to pay for a place to stay and food to eat. That might be mighty strong motivation for tonight.

*The Bell Rings.*

*As referee Rockwell signals for the match to begin, Vaughn painfully peels himself out of the corner and starts to move forward, gamely ready to compete. Hill is there waiting to meet up with him, waving the man on. The two lock up, with Hill immediately taking advantage, getting the Janitor into the ropes. He grabs Vaughn’s arm and shoots him across the ring, with Vaughn returning at a fast pace. Hill’s ready, leapfrogging over him and causing Vaughn to keep moving, rebounding off the other side. As Vaughn comes back, Hill turns and drops, catching Vaughn in the midsection with his boots and getting a monkey flip that throws Vaughn across the ring! Vaughn hits hard and immediately rolls himself out of the ring to regroup, as Hill kips back up to his feet, smiling. He sees Vaughn on the outside and decides that he doesn’t want the Janitor to recuperate, so Hill races over there, coming out with a baseball slide kick that knocks Vaughn backwards into the railing! Hill follows him out, attacking the man, as referee Rockwell begins his count.*

Jones: I’m not sure Hill has lost anything after coming back from his short prison stay!

Logan: If anything, I’d say it’s made him a little leaner and tougher, Jonesy. Of course, when you’re in prison, there’s not much to do other than to work out.

Jones: Am I hearing the voice of experience, Anthony?

Logan: No comment.

*With Vaughn struggling to even stand, Hill pulls the man up and sends him back into the ring, following behind him. Vaughn is crawling away, looking for a way out, but that isn’t on Warrick’s agenda. Instead, he grabs Vaughn’s legs, twisting him over and applying a Boston crab! Vaughn’s yelling from the torturous maneuver, even as referee Rockwell watches him for signs of submission. Hill seems perfectly content to stay in the hold for some time, rocking back and forth to keep the pressure on his opponent. The Janitor, for his part, is looking like he’s wanting to cry from the pain, but, for some reason, is not tapping out. He claws at the mat, trying to get closer to the ropes, but there’s no way to reach them from his current position. Referee Rockwell comes closer, checking to see if Vaughn is going to tap, with the Janitor now considering it… but that all becomes moot when, surprisingly, Hill drops the hold, standing up!*

Logan: Hey, Warrick, you almost had him!

Jones: That’s strange, but I guess Warrick decided he wanted to do something else?

Logan: Hard to say, although he’s definitely still in full control of this one.

*Vaughn painfully rolls away, grabbing at his legs. Hill, for his part, has moved to the ropes, peacefully resting against them as he watches Vaughn try to stand. The Janitor is struggling with it, grabbing for any help he can get. Referee Rockwell, seeing this, makes sure to stay back, out of range. Finally, the Janitor is up, but he’s not moving too easily. He turns towards Hill, who signals for him to come towards him. Vaughn does so, moving achingly over towards the wrestler. Hill is goading him on, wanting Vaughn to get closer, closer, still closer. Finally, Vaughn gets right up to him, tightening his fists and ready to give it one more try. However, this is when Hill suddenly runs past Vaughn, surprising him. Vaughn turns around, confused, as Hill hits the ropes and comes back at full speed… leaping up and hitting The Joint!!!!! Vaughn is knocked out of his shoes, laying on the mat, as Warrick comes back with a large grin. He makes the cover, with referee Rockwell right there… 1… 2… 3!!!!*

Minos: Here is your winner, moving on in the Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament, Warrick Hill!

Jones: And just like that, it’s over! Hill moves on!

Logan: The Janitor just didn’t have anything in the tank tonight. He basically got run over.

Jones: Well, he was still hurting from the beating he took last week, but it’s clear that Hill’s a new man after his recent incarceration. I know some think that Mobley should be the one in this tournament, but Hill just made a strong case for himself!

Logan: But can he keep up the pace, or has his stamina been affected? I guess we’ll find out next week!

*Hill has already rolled out of the ring, not wanting to waste any celebration time here when he can just go to the back and get paid. Vaughn’s still out cold from the hit he took, showing that he probably needs a vacation. Referee Rockwell checks on him, trying to help him up, but Vaughn’s not budging. We focus on Hill one more time as he marches confidently through the entryway on his way towards the back. We see a man coming out of the Presidential office. The camera focuses on him, showing it to be Grimm. He’s got a cocky smile on his face, which fades only slightly when Cynthia Hall runs up to him.*

Cynthia Hall: Excuse me, Grimm! May I have a second of your time?

Grimm: A second of my time can be costly, girl, but go ahead.

Cynthia Hall: Last week, after missing your Warriors of the Ring match, you had a meeting with the President. Shortly thereafter, you were seen attacking Arryk Rage, who has clearly had his own issues with the President as of late. It’s not much of a leap to say that there’s a connection.

Grimm: A connection? Nah, I just decided to get rid of some *bleep* from the GCWA locker room.

Cynthia Hall: So you aren’t going to admit that you were put up to the assault by Ace?

Grimm: You reporters, always looking for conspiracy theories.

*With a quick movement, Cynthia reaches down, snatching the piece of paper out of Grimm’s hand. Before she can do much with it, though, Grimm quickly grabs it back from her, while also grabbing her with one hand around her throat! She gasps, as Grimm leans in close to her.*

Grimm: You just stepped over the line, girl. Next time, I won’t be so nice.

*Grimm releases Cynthia and walks away, carrying the piece of paper with him. Cynthia sags against the wall, coughing, but after a second or two, she’s able to recover enough to speak.*

Cynthia Hall: That… hurt… but it was worth it… it sure looked to me that Grimm had a contract with him for a title opportunity… was it a reward for what happened last week? I’ll see if I can find out more…

*Cynthia moves off, still rubbing her sore throat. We head to a commercial break.*

*We come back from the break to a shot of the backstage hallway, where we see a man angrily storming down the middle, with people having to get out of his way. It’s the World Heavyweight Champion, Draco!!*

Jones: Uh oh, Draco looks steamed!

Logan: Somehow, I’m betting that Draco managed to talk to Harvey about what the X Division Champion overheard earlier…

Jones: Hey, I think, yes, he’s on his way out here now!

Logan: Tonight just got a little more exciting, Jonesy!

*"Indestructable" by Disturbed hits as the GCWA World Heavyweight Champion, Draco, makes a beeline for the ring, microphone in hand and GCWA World Heavyweight Championship slung over his shoulder. He ignores the cheering fans reaching out for a high five, instead focusing on the ring as he gets down to ringside, sliding under the bottom rope. Not looking to waste any time, Draco gets straight to the point.*

Draco: Shane, get your ass out here now. I just spoke to Harvey.

Logan: So Draco now knows that Donovan’s been trying to work against him with Ace! This should be good!

Jones: Hey, we still haven’t heard Shane’s side of the story, Anthony. There could be a rational explanation for this…

*Draco doesn't have to wait long for "God in Extension" to hit, with Draco's tag team partner Shane Donovan making his way down to the ring, the fans booing him as he enters, microphone in hand.*

Draco: Care to explain to me why you're talking to Ace? Harvey told me all about it, how you called me a no-good lousy drunk, how you wanted to "do something" about me? What are you going to do Shane? Huh? You going to at least man-up and say it to my face?

*Shane stares at Draco for a moment before shaking his head.*

Shane Donovan: Draco... Ryan buddy, you got it all wrong man. Harvey wasn't paying attention to what was really being said so let me explain. Now, I know this next statement is going to hurt, but it needs to be said... You're a lousy drunk.

*Draco seethes, about to respond when Shane gestures for him to let Shane continue.*

Shane Donovan: Hold up man, let me finish. You're being a drunk, and it's becoming a problem man. Look at what happened last week. Look at what's happening right now, you coming down to this ring looking to have it out with me instead of finding me in the back and being able to discuss this like reasonable adults. You're tripping man, you're losing your edge and it's going to cost you and it's going to cost this company. The Accelerator is on his wit's end man, he doesn't want an unreliable champion.

Draco: That's bull*bleep* Shane. Since when did you ever care about the company?

Shane Donovan: Listen, after I injured my leg I've had some time to think things through man, and I realized that my attitude before wasn't accomplishing anything for me. Sure I won some titles, but I wasn't the star. My name wasn't getting top billing on the marquee. I understand now that if I want to be a top guy here I need to help out my friends and I need to help out this company, not antagonize it. We need to get you cleaned up so that this company stays the course and we're all made more rich and famous for it. Right folks? Don't you think Draco needs to get his act together?

*The crowd begrudgedly agrees, with small packets of cheers occurring, but mainly it's more polite clapping than anything else.*

Shane Donovan: So what do you say man? You going to let me help you out so we can get back to being D&D and running roughshod over the competition? So we can be the best we can be and elevate this place to new heights?

*The crowd cheers some more as Shane extends his hand to Draco, who after hesitating for a moment accepts it.*

Logan: Looks like Draco’s accepting Shane’s explanation, and I have to admit, he did look pretty bad last week in his match against Vaughn.

Jones: D & D had a near crash, but it seems like they’re pulling back together tighter than ever!

*The two men shake hands, and Shane raises Draco's arm to the cheers of the crowd. Draco then goes to the nearby corner, climbing the turnbuckles and holding up the title for the fans to see. Shane, meanwhile, reaches into his jacket pocket, pulling out a black object and jamming it into Draco's back! Draco immediately drops to the mat, writhing in pain as Shane holds the object up, revealing it to be a taser!*

Jones: What that hell????

Logan: Oh, man, Donovan just zapped the World Heavyweight Champion in the back!! That son of a…

*Shane reaches into his pocket again, pulling out a pair of handcuffs and dragging Draco to the ropes, cuffing him to the bottom rope before putting the boots to him some. Shane then grabs the championship belt, facing it towards Draco's face and leaving it there as he climbs to the second turnbuckle, leaping off and holding the ropes, using them to swing forward and smash the belt into Draco's face with his boot! The crowd boos loudly as he does it again, opening a cut on Draco's forehead.*

Logan: Damnit, where is security??

Jones: The World Champion is getting dismantled in there! He needs help!!

*Smirking to himself, Shane picks up the belt and slams it into the champion's face again, the crowd roaring in anger at the display. At this point Harvey makes a beeline to the ring, but Shane bails, taking the title belt with him as he escapes up the ramp. Harvey checks on Draco as Shane gets to the top of the ramp, holding up the championship belt over his head before kissing it and throwing it down.*

Jones: Draco needs medical attention!

Logan: Not to mention some bolt cutters to get him out of those handcuffs!

Jones: We just saw the implosion of D & D!! It appears that Harvey’s still on Draco’s side, but Draco and Donovan have definitely gone different directions!!

Logan: I knew Donovan couldn’t be trusted!

*As Donovan departs to the massive negative reaction, a security guard arrives to help free Draco from the handcuffs. Harvey worriedly stands nearby, glancing between Draco and the departed Donovan. The picture slowly fades out.*

*We come back to a shot of the ringside area, where Jones and Logan are sitting in their usual positions.*

Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, just before the last break, we witnessed a truly shocking event, as Shane Donovan turned on his long-time tag-team partner, Draco, brutally attacking him and leaving the World Champion laid out.

*A clip quickly runs, showing the moment that Donovan used the tazer on Draco, then showing some of the moves he hit before Harvey came down for the save.*

Logan: That one’s going to be remembered by the fans for a long time. I’ve never trusted Donovan, but Draco always seemed to have a great relationship with him. We’ll have to hope that our World Champion is not too seriously injured.

Jones: Well, I know Harvey went back with him, helping with the stretcher. He’ll be coming back out again shortly for his tournament match.

Logan: The question now is, will Ace grant Donovan the match that he apparently wants? I mean, we saw Donovan holding the World Heavyweight Title over his head on the ramp. I think he clearly stated what he thinks should happen. But Donovan hasn’t wrestled in months…

Jones: You can bet, though, that once Draco recovers, he’s going to be wanting a match with Donovan as well.

Logan: True… which might be the reason that Donovan did it this way. That guy’s always scheming about something…

Jones: Well, we can’t dwell on it, because we’ve still got two more matches for tonight, filling in the final two spots of the tournament!

Minos: The next match is scheduled for one fall, and will be a Qualifying Match for the Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament! Making his way towards the ring, he is a former GCWA Television Champion, as well as a former 2-time GCWA World Tag-Team Champion, standing 6’0” and weighing in at 228 lbs, from Smithville, Tennessee, representing the Danger Boiz, here is Crazy Chris!

*Crazy Chris walks out of the back, looking determined to do well tonight. As “Mental Health” by Zebrahead plays behind him, the masked wrestler moves quickly down the aisle towards the ring. He’s barely looking over at the cheering fans, showing that he’s all business tonight.*

Jones: Earlier tonight, The Big Bifford joined his tag-team partner, Arachne, in the quarter-finals. Now, Crazy Chris has his opportunity to continue on with his partner, Dangerous Dan, who qualified last week.

Logan: Tournaments like this can be pretty rough on tag-teams, since it’s almost like they’re trying to outdo each other. Plus, of course, there’s the possibility that the brothers will be forced to fight each other in the future.

Jones: Well, they were fighting other people this past week, as the Danger Boiz were seen in an impromptu wrestling tag-team match in another promotion.

Logan: I doubt Ace was very happy about that. After all, if one of the Danger Boiz got hurt, it would cost Ace revenue… plus, of course, he wouldn’t get to show any replays of the injury. Fortunately, it seems like he’s going to let it slide for now.

Jones: I also heard that they were using the President’s “boyo” catchphrase.

Logan: Now THAT he may not let slide…

Minos: His opponent tonight is a multi-time GCWA World Tag-Team Champion, as well as the holder of the ‘unofficial’ Danger Title… representing D & D, standing 6’0” and weighing 215 lbs, from New York City, New York, here is the GCWA X Division Champion, Harvey Danger!

*As “No Rain” by Blind Melon plays, Harvey Danger slowly comes out of the back, looking distracted and a little shaken. He keeps looking behind him, possibly thinking that he should be at Draco’s side in medical instead of being back out here for a match. Harvey moves down the aisle, carrying the X Division Title in one hand.*

Logan: Danger looks like he’s completely lost right now, not a good way to be going into a match.

Jones: He just witnessed one of the few friends he has get badly beaten up by another man he considered his friend, Anthony. How’s he supposed to feel?

Logan: I get that, and I understand that he’s really confused right now, but a wrestler has to be able to compartmentalize problems when he’s coming down for a match. Otherwise, things might take a turn for the worse.

*The Bell Rings.*

Jones: Now remember, Danger’s title is not on the line tonight. This is all about the tournament.

Logan: I think that’s part of what fuels Crazy Chris’ fire, Jonesy. I mean, why ISN’T the belt on the line? Mr. Excellent had to defend the Intercontinental Title, and later tonight, Santana will be putting the Television Title on the line. It seems a little strange that Crazy Chris isn’t getting a shot at the X Division Title.

Jones: I definitely agree he’s deserving. Maybe a win tonight over the champion will earn him that opportunity in the future. But he’s got to earn that win.

*Referee Trixie is over next to Harvey now, with Harvey wanting to talk with her. He is shaking his head and expressing his feelings. Unfortunately, Trixie only wants the X Division Title, to make sure that it isn’t used during the contest. Danger hands it over, with Trixie moving away to put it up. As soon as she’s out of the way, Crazy Chris rushes in, catching Harvey by surprise! Chris lands a great running clothesline that sends Danger up and over the top rope, spilling him to the floor!! Danger struggles to get up on the outside, having taken a good-sized bump. Inside, Crazy Chris looks to the cheering fans for a moment, and then runs away from Harvey, hitting the ropes on the other side for momentum. He flies back and takes to the sky, sailing over the top rope with a suicidal flipping plancha onto his opponent!!! Danger crashes to the ground, while Chris lands on his feet, taking a second to join the cheering fans at the guardrail before getting back to business.*

Jones: It didn’t take long for Harvey’s distraction to really put him in a bad way!

Logan: Yeah, Crazy Chris used perfect timing to land a couple of big-time moves that have put him in full control. He knew exactly when to go after the man.

Jones: Well, remember, these guys have fought on numerous occasions before, the last time having Danger win away the Television Title.

Logan: Crazy Chris still hasn’t forgotten that. Tonight’s his chance at redemption.

*With referee Trixie counting away from the inside, Crazy Chris stays on the offensive, pulling up the wounded Danger and smashing him against the apron a few times before rolling him in. Crazy Chris then climbs up onto the apron and waits for Danger to slowly pull himself up. As soon as he reaches the right height, Chris springboards himself up off the ropes and comes into the ring with a leap, landing on Danger’s shoulder and landing a terrific hurricanrana into a pinning combination!! Trixie’s right there for the count… 1… 2… and Danger barely escapes in time! Both men quickly get back up, with Danger trying to back off to give himself a moment or two to pull himself together. But Crazy Chris has no intention of allowing that to happen. He runs after Danger, catching him in the corner and landing a couple of uppercuts, stunning him. Chris then grabs hold of Danger’s head and pulls him out of the corner, before twisting himself around and running up the ‘buckle and back for a Tornado DDT!! Chris makes another cover… 1… 2… Danger kicks free again.*

Logan: Danger’s just not looking in top form tonight, Jonesy. That D & D situation must really have thrown him for a loop.

Jones: Well, if he wants to move on in the tournament, he needs to find a way to forget about it for a little while, because he’s being dominated by Crazy Chris at the moment!

Logan: Sometimes it’s just not that easy to push it away, Edds. Especially when it’s guys that you’ve come to trust who are at odds.

*Danger’s still on his knees now, looking like he’d rather be anywhere than here. He struggles to get up, working on balancing himself. Finally, after a few more seconds, he manages it, steadying himself by keeping his hands even on either side of him. A small smile appears on his face after this ‘victory’, but the smile soon fades as he remembers where he is. Nearby, referee Trixie is watching him, apparently with a little concern. She looks away as Harvey turns himself around, staring as Crazy Chris takes flight from the turnbuckle, flinging himself towards him and landing the Crazy Man’s Suicide!!!!! The kick decimates Danger, causing him to fall flat on his back, arms splayed out on the canvas! Crazy Chris gets back up after the maneuver, knowing that he’s got things wrapped up but wanting to finish things quickly. He drops for the cover, with referee Trixie moving over to do her job… 1… 2… 3!!!!*

Minos: Here is your winner, moving on in the Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament, Crazy Chris!

Logan: Man, this one’s actually got to be considered a shocker, Jonesy! I expected this one to be extremely competitive, but instead, Crazy Chris truly dominated tonight!

Jones: This could be a major statement for everyone who is ruling out guys like Crazy Chris and Dangerous Dan in this tournament. The brothers are both moving on, while the X Division Champion has taken a surprising defeat!

Logan: Danger needs to get himself straightened out after all the Donovan nonsense, and get himself back on track. As for Crazy Chris, he deserves congratulations for making it to this point. But now the journey only gets more difficult.

*Crazy Chris is up on the turnbuckle now, celebrating his victory with a smirk and a pose for the fans. Danger’s still down, with referee Trixie checking over him to make sure that he’s going to be ok. We leave them behind to head backstage, where we see Grimm once again, this time carrying his workout bag and heading for his car. He seems pretty pleased with himself as he pops open the trunk, throwing the bag inside.*

Voice: Lots of trunk space in there? Good.

*Grimm spins around, surprised, as Arryk Rage comes out of the shadows!! Before Grimm can react, Arryk is swinging, smashing Grimm in the chest with a steel chair!! Grimm bends over, stunned, which allows Arryk to grab hold of him and twist him around, tossing him into the trunk!!! Rage then slams the trunk closed, locking Grimm inside!*

Arryk Rage: Enjoy the darkness, Grimm. I always do.

*Rage pulls out the keys from the trunk and tosses them behind him haphazardly. They disappear underneath another automobile. Pounding can already be heard from the trunk, as Grimm is trying hard to get out. The trunk, though, is holding tight for now. Rage moves off, leaving the trapped wrestler behind, as we head to commercial.*

*We return from the commercial break in the backstage area. As we enter the locker room of the Danger Boiz, we see Dangerous Dan on the phone. He seems calm but a little worried.*

Dangerous Dan: So is he doing alright?

*Dan pauses for a moment, waiting for an answer from the other person on the other end of the line. *

Dangerous Dan: Ok. Well just give him some medicine and put him back to sleep. If he happens to get worse, give me a call. We should be home sometime tomorrow afternoon. Alright, mom, I love you too. Kiss Eli goodnight for me. Love you too.

*As Dan hangs up the phone, Chris enters the locker room. He is all pumped up, but yet appears to be serious. *

Dangerous Dan: Hey, bro. so how did your match go? (Sarcastically) Did you win?

*Chris smirks, but doesn’t seem too offended at his brother’s attitude*

Crazy Chris: As a matter of fact, I did. It was actually a breeze.

Dangerous Dan: Well congrats on your win there! I see we both are now in the Warriors of the Ring tournament. Now we just have to get through the next round. I plan on making it.

Crazy Chris: Yes we are, only if I were you, I wouldn’t expect to get an easy advancement into the next round.

Dangerous Dan: Now why would you think that I would get an easy advancement?

Crazy Chris: You bragged about “winning” your way into the tournament, but you didn’t actually prove you are worthy to be in the tournament. Unlike you, bro, I proved I should be in the tournament.

Dangerous Dan: OUCH!!! Easy there brother! You still seem a little hostile on me advancing.

Crazy Chris: I’m not hostile, but I wouldn’t expect the rest of the tournament to be such a ‘breeze’ for you. All I have to say is that you best hope that you and I aren’t facing each other in the next round.

Dangerous Dan: And why is that? What? You think that you can beat me, if we faced each other?

Crazy Chris: Oh I know I can beat you? Remember our TV title match we had a while back ago?

*Dan pauses for a moment. He pretends not to remember, but then recalls the match. *

Dangerous Dan: Yes I do. I had you beat.

*Chris smirks, knowing that Dan is toying with him. *

Crazy Chris: Uh, no. As I recall I had you beaten. You best hope that we aren’t facing each other in the tournament. I will beat you. I am going to prove that I am the better brother. I want that World title, just as much as you do. I don’t care who I have to beat to get there. I will beat you, if we are facing each other at any point in this tournament.

Dangerous Dan: You know what, Chris? I hope that we both make it all the way through this tournament. I hope that in the finals it’s you and I for the crown of Warrior. I would love nothing more than to beat you. You want it so bad, well so do I. I am going to make it to the finals. I just hope I see you there. Just don’t expect to win.

*Dan starts to head out of the locker room, with a smile on his face. Chris stares Dan down, as he makes his way past him, but doesn’t turn fully around. The camera stays on Chris’ reaction, as the scene fades back to ringside.*

Logan: We’re definitely seeing some competitiveness out of the Danger Boiz now! Man, if they go on to face each other later in the tournament, there’s going to be some extreme tension in that one!

Jones: Well, nothing’s guaranteed, as they aren’t currently scheduled to face in the next round. But, if both advance…

Logan: Man, I have to say, I’m pulling for that. I always love a good brother vs. brother match!

Jones: Well, we’ve decided seven of our eight quarter-finalists. It’s time to decide the last individual to move on!

Logan: And gold’s on the line, which always makes things more interesting!

Minos: The next match is our main event of the evening, and will be for the GCWA Television Championship!

*The fans quickly retake their seats after a quick trip to the vendors, prepared to witness what could be a terrific championship bout.*

Minos: This match is scheduled for one fall, and is the final Qualifying Match for the Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament! Introducing first, the challenger… he earned the right to compete here tonight at Wreck The Halls by winning a “Fatal Fourway” Match… standing 6’4” and weighing in at 250 lbs, from Boston, Massachusetts, here is “The Retarded Beast” Bucky Johnson!

*The crowd gives a good-sized cheer for Johnson, who comes out to “Crack A Bottle” by Eminem. He looks around suspiciously at the nearby security guards, as if looking for anyone wearing a mask and carrying a BB gun. Seeing none in evidence, Johnson slowly heads for the squared circle.*

Jones: It’s been a strange week for Bucky Johnson, as he found himself the victim of what I was describe as a form of hazing.

Logan: Hazing? You think that’s why someone toilet-papered his locker room, and later shot him with a BB gun?

Jones: Well, why else would someone do that? Unfortunately, at this point, I don’t believe we know who the shooter was, although I do know that Johnson had a list of possible suspects for the attack.

Logan: Yep, which included Robert Santana, who might have been wanting to throw his opponent off his game tonight. Really, though, we have no idea who it was, but Johnson’s definitely thinking about it on his way out here.

Minos: His opponent has held multiple championships, including a run as the GCWA X Division Champion… tonight, he seeks another successful title defense, as well as to move himself further up the ladder into contendership… standing 6’3” and weighing 235 lbs, from Washington DC, here is the GCWA Television Champion, Robert “The Sensei” Santana!

*The fans stand, excited, as “Sandstorm” by Darude begins to play. Santana comes out of the back, taking in the crowd and giving a short bow before marching down the aisle.*

Jones: From what I hear, Santana had a very rough week, which involved his wife being in mortal danger!

Logan: The details are a little sketchy, but apparently there was a shoot-out of some sort at the Santana’s home. All that I really know right now is that Santana and his wife are safe.

Jones: Yep, thank god. Santana’s a strong contender in this tournament, it would have been awful for him to be injured before he had the chance to compete.

*The Bell Rings.*

Jones: These two men last faced off at the beginning of December ’09, where Santana managed to win out after a furious battle with Johnson.

Logan: The second match is always trickier, as you now face an opponent who’s learned some of your tricks. It also makes the bout more enjoyable, in my opinion.

Jones: A lot’s on the line in this one, let’s see if the series gets evened between them, or if Santana gets another big victory!

*Head Referee Bell shows off the championship for a moment, before taking it over to the ropes to get it safely deposited onto the timekeeper’s table. Johnson slowly comes forward, saying something to Santana, who answers back by shaking his head, possibly denying having anything to do with the ‘attack’. They argue for a second, with Johnson not looking fully convinced. The two men start circling each other, then lock up, with the two men pushing for leverage. Johnson wins out, taking Santana back to the corner and holding him there. Bell moves in, calling for the break, with Johnson reluctantly stepping back, his hands raised. But Johnson then suddenly goes back in, trying an elbow shot, only to have Santana duck under it, causing Johnson to become the one in the corner! The Television Champion lands a stiff punch to Johnson’s head, stunning him, and then leans back, coming in with one of his chops across the chest! The fans ooh, hearing the echo, as Johnson feels the burn from the slice across his exposed skin.*

Jones: Every time I see those chops, I wince. Anyone who’s ever faced Santana has had to deal with those slashes across the chest!

Logan: Yeah, those can leave some major marks that last for days. I usually had some Neosporin waiting for me in the back after matches.

Jones: Few can do that as well as Santana, but it’s just the opening foray in this contest!

*Santana works to bring Johnson out of the corner, taking him towards the center. He smacks the wrestler with a forearm, then another, keeping him off-balance. Santana then backs away, only to come back in with an attempt at a side kick. Bucky, though, catches his leg, stopping Santana in his tracks and leaving him hopping on one foot. Knowing how dangerous Santana can be, Johnson doesn’t hesitate, immediately heaving Santana’s foot upwards, causing him to fall onto his back! Johnson then hurries over and drops an elbow, only to have Santana roll out of the way. A second elbow is dodged the same way, with Santana reaching the ropes to pull himself up. Johnson, looking annoyed, waits for Santana to move away from the ropes, then comes in, only to have Santana drop his shoulder, tossing Johnson over the ropes! Somehow, though, Johnson lands on the apron. As the Television Champion walks away, thinking that the #1 Contender is gone for the moment, Johnson surprisingly grabs at the ropes and springboards himself back in, getting a flying bulldog on Santana!! Bucky then quickly makes the cover… 1… 2… and Santana manages to kick out!*

Jones: Wow! Johnson nearly shocked us with that one! For a big man, he definitely can fly!

Logan: Oh, yeah, people underestimate Johnson’s athletic ability, especially because of the way he looks. But he can hit any number of maneuvers that someone his size usually wouldn’t dream of attempting!

*Johnson pulls Santana up off the canvas, taking him towards the corner. He violently throws Santana in head-first, causing him to bounce off the turnbuckle pads. With Santana’s back turned, Johnson aims, then comes in, ramming a shoulder into Santana’s spine!! Santana groans in pain, flopping to the right and landing with his arms across the top rope, the only thing keeping him up. Johnson immediately takes advantage of that, grabbing the rope and bouncing it, causing Santana to fall back into the ring. With Santana down, Johnson heads for the turnbuckle, climbing onto the second turnbuckle. He points to the champion, as if thinking about already going for his Bronco Buster. But Santana’s already working his way up, so Johnson decides on another strategy, jumping from the second turnbuckle for a clothesline! Santana, though, ducks under it, and as Johnson tries to regain his balance, Santana spins himself, getting a leg sweep that plants his foe face-first to the mat! Johnson’s stunned, allowing Santana to get to his feet and come over, dropping a leg across the back of his head before rolling the man over for a cover. Head Referee Bell slides in… 1… 2… and Bucky gets the shoulder up.*

Logan: For most guys, it’s all about the power of the punch, and their upper body strength. But for Santana, his legs are his most dangerous weapons.

Jones: He can use them in so many ways, it makes you wonder how he trained to get his flexibility. It has me think of that John Claude Van Damme movie, Kickboxer, where he got his legs stretched by the trainer using ropes?

Logan: Oh, man, don’t remind me about that!! I hurt for weeks after seeing that one! Man, if there was ever an actor that should have been a pro wrestler, it’s Van Damme!

*Both men are starting to show how the strain of the match is wearing on them, as neither is moving quite as fast as when we started. Santana is up first, catching Johnson on his way up and giving him a knee to the gut that keeps him bent over. Santana then steps in behind Johnson, applying a crossface chickenwing submission! Head Referee Bell immediately moves in to check as Johnson works to get himself free, already feeling a great deal of pain from the maneuver. Santana works to keep him in place, away from the ropes, but Johnson’s additional body mass is making that difficult. The two start doing a spin, with Johnson stretching out his free arm desperately towards any corner that seems close. After a few more seconds in the hold, Johnson finally, agonizingly is able to throw himself forward, getting his hand on the top rope to force the break, saving the match. Santana immediately lets go of the hold as Head Referee Bell demands, preparing his next move.*

Logan: Man, I thought for a second that Santana could pull it out with that one, but Johnson was able to escape from it way too quickly for it to succeed.

Jones: It was a nice move, one we don’t see too often from Santana, but Johnson was able to force his way to the ropes. Santana needs to stick more to ground submissions when facing an opponent like this.

Logan: Yeah, well, I’m not saying it was ineffective, because it definitely looks like it took a toll on Johnson. But the match isn’t decided just yet!

*Santana is still on the attack, landing a couple of kicks to Johnson’s midsection, driving him back into the ropes. Santana then follows that up by grabbing hold of Johnson’s arm and whipping him towards the other side. As Johnson rebounds back towards him, Santana goes for a spinning high heel kick, only to have Bucky dodge underneath it, saving himself. He hits the ropes and comes back, with Santana trying to position himself to swing again. But Johnson’s there too fast, running over Santana with a lowered shoulder!! Santana hits back first, but immediately starts to pull himself up. Unfortunately for him, Johnson is waiting, as he grabs hold of Santana from behind and locks him up before lifting him into the air and dropping with a sit-out full nelson atomic bomb!!! Santana shudders from the damage done to his spine, even as a weary Johnson manages to get around and grab at the Television Champion, twisting him over for a pin attempt… 1… 2… no, Santana gets out in time!*

Jones: Johnson’s really showing a variety of moves tonight, but so far, nothing is keeping Santana down!

Logan: He’s got to keep the pressure on if he wants a chance to win the gold and move on in the tournament. Santana’s been through a lot over the past year, and I think it’s toughened him up. It may take several high-impact maneuver to keep him down long enough for a 3 count!

*With Santana still down, Johnson pulls himself to his feet, looking like he’s starting to get worn out as the match continues on. He heads towards the turnbuckle, possibly thinking about finishing things. He works his way up, getting to the top of the ‘buckle, signaling for the Bucking Bronco!! The fans are cheering, both for Johnson to land it and for Santana to move. Johnson doesn’t hesitate once he gets up there, leaping off in full flight for the frog splash… and Santana rolls aside, avoiding it!! Johnson hits hard, rolling to his side and grabbing at his stomach in agony. He is bent over, gasping, as Santana gets to his feet, using the ropes. Seeing an opportunity, Santana races in, aiming for the Sensei-Tion!! But Johnson suddenly hops up, dodging the kick and grabbing Santana from behind, yanking him off his feet into a surprise roll-up!!! Johnson desperately hangs on as Santana fights, trying to get up, with Head Referee Bell diving in for the count… 1… 2… and Santana escapes at the last moment, avoiding the loss!*

Jones: Geez!! That was close!

Logan: That almost looked planned, Jonesy, like Johnson was just waiting for Santana to try and use the move that beat Bucky last time!

Jones: It almost worked too, but somehow, the champ was able to get free before that final 3 count hit!

*Johnson looks angry, arguing with the referee, but Bell has never been known to change his mind regarding a count. This is no exception. Johnson, shaking his head, turns and grabs Santana, dragging him back towards the center of the ring, no, Santana knocks Johnson’s hand away, then lashes out with a desperation jawbreaker, sending both men to the canvas!!! Johnson’s down in a heap, stunned, while Santana isn’t much better, having taken a jarring hit himself. Head Referee Bell watches both men, starting up a cautious 10 count. He doesn’t get very far, as both men start struggling back to their feet. Johnson, due to being closer to the ropes, manages to get up first. He turns and comes at Santana, only to have the Television Champion drop to a knee and give him a double-opened-handed shot to the midsection! Johnson hacks in pain, with Santana hopping back up to grab Bucky by the head and spin him to the ground with a facebreaker DDT!!! Exhausted, Santana manages to get Johnson over for another cover, with Head Referee Bell making the count… 1… 2… and Bucky raises his arm weakly, staying alive!*

Logan: Man, this is turning into a great match! Good to see some competitiveness in the Television Division!

Jones: The determination of winning or retaining the gold, plus the pressure of the WOTR tournament, is keeping these guys going. But how much longer can either man last at this point?

*The Television Champion is back on his feet now, wiping sweat out of his eyes. Johnson is trying to get up as well, but Santana beats him to it, with the champ coming in with an attempted knee lift. Unfortunately for Santana, Johnson’s able to straighten up in time, dodging the move. He then grabs Santana, going for a rock bottom! But Santana elbows his way free, avoiding the dangerous maneuver. He runs backwards and goes to the ropes, coming back towards Johnson, who moves towards him to try and catch the man on the run. He takes a mighty swing, but it hits only air, as Santana goes underneath it. When Santana reaches the ropes, he jumps up on the second one, using it to springboard himself over, twisting in the air towards Johnson… and landing a flying variation of the Sensei-Tion!!!! It comes out of nowhere, giving Johnson nowhere to go but down, as the crowd goes wild!! With Johnson down, Santana scrambles over to make the cover, grabbing the legs for additional support… 1… 2… 3!!!!!*

Minos: Here is your winner, moving on in the Warriors of the Ring IV Tournament and STILL the GCWA Television Champion, Robert “The Sensei” Santana!

Jones: Santana pulls it out, once again defending the Television Championship!

Logan: He’s really turning into a dominant champion in that division, which might mean it’s about time for him to leave it behind and head on to other competition. Johnson didn’t make it easy, but Santana earns himself a spot in the Quarterfinals!

Jones: An impressive victory, to be sure. So we have our eight quarter-finalists set!

Logan: Yep, and we’re moving on to the next round, running through the quarter-finals next week!

Jones: Of the eight great competitors left, only one will get to claim the title Warrior of the Ring! Be sure to join us next week to see more of the thrilling action of our participants!

*Santana is seen, celebrating his victory, with the belt held over his head. As he continues to pull in the cheers, Bucky Johnson can be seen getting up behind him, looking dejected at another loss to the champ. Johnson moves away, even as the tournament brackets are displayed on the screen.*
